Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0712648A1] The assembly has a base surmounted by a hollow body (3) and extending rearwardly into a supporting plate (5) for the sole of a shoe. The shoe is retained by two wings (7, 8) articulated around vertical axes (9, 10). Forces applied by the shoe on the wings are transmitted to a spring (12) by a cylindrical longitudinal link (13) with a screw (15) and washer (14). The triggering threshold is adjustable using of a floating rocker (25) and collar (24) actuated by either a magnet or an transmitter/ receiver assembly. The adjustment can also be done using an electric motor.
