[origin: EP0712724A1] The process involves inking a printing block (9) using a container (1) containing printing ink (3) to transfer print or parts of pictures to workpieces. At least one edge of the container lying on the printing block is turned round a vertical axis (A) during relative motion between the container and the block. The whole container may be turned circumferentially. The edge (2) may be turned alternately in different directions. The wall may be turned round its middle point. The extent of the turn may be less than 360 deg. The container may be connected to a drive (27).
