Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0712725A2] The roller element finds application in a rotary printing machine during foam plate (15) exchange. It consists of several, individually adjustable rollers (7), arranged along the jacket of the forme cylinder (3). One or several first rollers (7) are adjustable on the forme cylinders during the forme plate mounting, while one or more second rollers are adjustably usable during the forme plate dismounting. Pref. the two types of rollers are fitted to the forme cylinder alternatingly adjacent to each other.
