An open-end spinner has a rotor (11) with a rim (113) which extends from the opening (111) to the fibre collecting groove (112). An extension (3) which projects into the rotor has a yarn draw-off hole (33) and a fibre feed channel (31) with an impact surface (32) essentially at right angles to the feed channel. The impact surface (32) is arranged so that the fibres pass along it to the fibre collecting groove (112) or the rim (113) with a distance of less than 5.5 mm from the fibre collecting groove. Also claimed is a spinning rotor with a distance of less than 7 mm between the fibre collecting groove (112) and the opening (111), a fibre groove (112) dia. of less than 35 mm. and an opening (111) at least 84% of the fibre groove dia..
Abstract (de)
Bei einer Offenend-Spinnvorrichtung (1), bei der die Fasern über eine Aufspeisefläche (32), die im wesentlichen quer zur Faserzuführrichtung angeordnet ist, eingespeist werden, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Aufspeisefläche (32) im Verhältnis zur Fasersammelrille (112) bzw. Wand (113) des Spinnrotors (11) so angeordnet ist, daß die Fasern in einem Abstand von weniger als 5,5 mm von der Fasersammelrille von der Aufspeisefläche in den Rotor eingespeist werden. Darüberhinaus wird ein Offenend-Spinnrotor (11) vorgeschlagen, der einen Durchmesser von weniger als 35 mm hat, wobei die Wand eine Höhe von weniger als 7 mm besitzt und der Durchmesser der Rotoröffnung wenigstens 84% des Durchmessers der Fasersammelrille beträgt. <IMAGE>
