[origin: EP0712964A1] The tap is fittable in an opening of the carrier with a pipe axis running approximately vertically to the carrier upper side. At least one operating component is provided for a water outlet valve and mixt. device. The straight pipe area is displaceably arranged in the carrier opening in a guide (12) in the direction of the pipe axis (22). It can be raised from a lower position, in which the water outlet aperture (34) is directly adjacent the level of the carrier upper side, into an upper usage position, in which the water outlet aperture is at a greater distance over the level of the carrier upper side.
