Abstract (en)
The spark plug includes the primary winding on a magnetic core (1) which is surrounded by a compartmented secondary former (3) and fed with DC via a connector (5). The two windings are enclosed in a casing (7) threaded (8) at the other end for insertion into the cylinder head. The high-voltage electrode (11) projects from the threaded end towards the tip of the earth electrode (9), and is energised from the secondary winding via a conductor (12) insulated from the ceramic base (13). The high-voltage assembly (11-13) is encased first, followed by the windings and an insulating resin which fills the casing.

L'invention a pour objet un organe d'allumage pour moteur à combustion interne. Elle comprend : un bobinage secondaire (4); des moyens (11-13) de sortie haute tension de ladite bobine secondaire susceptibles de fournir une étincelle d'allumage à un cylindre d'un moteur à combustion interne; un bobinage primaire (2); un boîtier (7) dans lequel sont disposés lesdits bobinages et lesdits moyens de sortie haute tension; et des moyens de maintien pour maintenir les bobinages et les moyens de sortie dans le boîtier. <IMAGE>
