[origin: EP0713058A1] At the head end of the combustion chamber, a premix burner (110) is arranged with connecting pre-combustion chamber (61). An acceleration path (70) for flue gas follows the pre-combustion chamber, and issues in an after-combustion chamber (62). In the area of the acceleration path, inflow apertures (64) are arranged in the double-walled combustion chamber limitation. At the entry to the at least one after-combustion chamber, injection devices are arranged for additional fuel. The premix burner is a double cone burner without mechanical flame holder.
