[origin: WO9504805A1] The washing of fat and oil from textiles can be improved by the use of certain non-ionic cellulose ethers. These non-ionic cellulose ethers are methyl hydroxy propyl celluloses having a proportion of methoxyl groups of 15 to 35 wt % and hydroxypropoxyl groups of 1 to 15 wt % in relation to the non-ionic cellulose ether.
