[origin: EP0713770A1] The fixing device fixes a flexible printing forme (4) on the printing forme cylinder (1) of a printing press with at least one slit running axially. There is at least one leaf-shaped tension element in the slit, with a rounded end and edging to lock the flexible printing forme. Each tension element fits in a tubular carrier (11) with an actuator to deform each tension element. Each deforming actuator may be consist of a membrane body which can be acted on by a pressure medium, or its action may be mechanical. It may consist of a flanging round a turning setting shaft.
