Abstract (en)
The heat exchanger has a collector tube (2) with at least one slit (3) in a plane roughly perpendicular to the tube axis. A flat tube with fluid flowing through it, or a dividing wall, can be inserted into the slit, so that the short sides of the slit are bounded by parallel slit walls (8a,8b) running along a tangent to a circle round the longitudinal axis of the tube. The length of the slit (a) is not less than the ID of the tube (d). The walls of the slits are formed by deforming the material of the collector tube so that they are of constant thickness along their length and the outer sides of the slit walls are mainly outside the external boundary of the tube.

Der Wärmetauscher weist ein Sammelrohr (2) auf, in das mindestens ein Schlitz (3) eingebracht ist, der in einer Ebene etwa senkrecht zur Sammelrohr-Längsachse liegt. In den Schlitz (3) ist ein fluiddurchströmtes Flachrohr, eine Trennwand oder dgl. einsteckbar, wobei die Schmalseiten des Schlitzes von parallel zueinander angeordneten Schlitzwänden (8a, 8b) des Sammelrohrs (2) begrenzt sind, die sich etwa längs einer Tangente zu einem Kreis um die Rohrlängsachse erstrecken. Die vom Abstand der Schlitzwände (8a, 8b) bestimmte Schlitzlänge (a) entspricht zumindest dem Rohr-Innendurchmesser (d). Um einen Wärmetauscher mit einem Sammelrohr (2) zu schaffen, mit dem bei geringstmöglichem Rohrdurchmesser und hoher Druckfestigkeit eine stabile und dichte Verbindung eines seitlich einmündenden Bauteils gewährleistet ist, ist vorgesehen, daß die Schlitzwände (8a, 8b) durch Verformung des Materials des Sammelrohrs (2) gebildet sind, die über ihre Wandlänge eine konstante Wandstärke aufweisen, wobei die Schlitzwand-Außenseiten größtenteils außerhalb des Rohr-Außenmantels liegen.
