[origin: DE19544568A1] The mfg. system is used to provide a closure for a paper filter bag used in an electric vacuum cleaner from a cardboard blank having a base plate (1), a cover plate (6) attached to it along a fold line (5) at one side and an intermediate plate (10) fitting between the base plate and the cover plate, attached to the base plate by a second fold line (23) at the opposite side.The base plate and the cover plate have similar openings (2,7) which are aligned when the cover plate is folded over the base plate, with a closure plate (11) for the openings formed integral with the intermediate plate.
