The fixing device is used to secure the ignition system to the cylinder head (3) of the i.c. engine via the spark plug connector (2) fitting through the cylinder head for engaging the spark plug contact part (8). The spark plug connector is elastically fitted through an opening (7) of the cylinder head, with longitudinal elastic ribs (11) around its outer surface engaging the inside surface of the cylinder head opening. Pref. an O-ring seal (13) is provided between the coaxial ignition coil (1) and the spark plug connector.

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Befestigen eines Einzelspulenzündsystems mit dem Zylinderkopf einer Brennkraftmaschine, mit in Längsrichtung angeordnet einer Zündspule und einem damit verrasteten Zündkerzenstecker, der durch eine Öffnung des Zylinderkopfs hindurchtritt und kontaktgebend mit einem Kontaktteil einer Zündkerze verbunden ist, ist das Einzelspulenzündsystem mittels des Zündkerzensteckers im Zylinderkopf gehalten, indem sich der Zündkerzenstecker elastisch in der Öffnung des Zylinderkopfs abstützt und mit dem Kontaktteil der Zündkerze verrastet ist. <IMAGE>
