[origin: EP0715083A2] The cylinder has an inner sealing strip (7) fastened in or on the longitudinal slot (6) extending along the cylinder by respective clamp pieces (11) which are separate from the cylinder covers (12). Both cylinder covers are fastened on the cylinder casing (2) in different twisted-round positions in relation to each other in the plane of the covers. The channels transmitting pressure medium in the two cylinder covers are located dynamically balanced in the transition region between the cylinder cover and adjacent structural part of the casing. A flange (9) on the piston (4) protrudes though the slot and has a clamping flange (10) on the outside.
