The heating system has the metal tubes (1) transported along a conveyor (2), with the inductive heating effective along a limited area extending in a line along the tube mantle surface during the passage of each tube past an inductor (3) extending parallel to the tube axis. Pref. the tubes are moved past the inductor at a rate of 3 m/s, with the relative spacing between the inductor and the tube axis being variable. Pref. the inductor is provided by a hollow waveguide.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie eine Anordnung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens zum Erwärmen vorzugsweise von Blechemballagen (1) mittels Induktionseinrichtung (3) zur thermischen Beeinflussung von auf Zargen aufgebrachter Materialien, die der Bildung eines Überzuges auf der Zargenlängsnaht dienen. Je nach Art der aufgebrachten Materialien sind diese aufzuschmelzen, zu trocknen, auszuhärten, zu vernetzen, zu vulkanisieren oder in ähnlicher Art und Weise thermisch zu beeinflussen. Der Wärmeeintrag erfolgt partiell in einem begrenzten Bereich (5) entlang einer Mantellinie während des Vorbeibewegens der Zarge am Induktor (3). Die Induktionseinrichtung ist als Längsinduktor (3) ausgebildet und in einem einstellbaren Abstand (a,h) annähernd parallel zur Zargentransporteinrichtung (2) angeordnet. <IMAGE>
