[origin: WO9506705A1] Preparation forms of crystalline stratified silicates have the general formula NaMSixO2x+1.yH2O, in which M stands for sodium or hydrogen, x is a number from 1.9 to 4 and y a number from 0 to 20. These compositions are used in washing or cleaning products, have high apparent densities and substantially no fine grain fraction. They are impregnated with liquid compositions whose ingredients substantially consist of the components of usual washing and cleaning products that may cause problems during spray drying. In order to produce such compositions, builders are used which consist of at least 60 % by weight, in relation to the impregnated builder component, crystalline stratified silicates in the form of granules with more than 650 g/l apparent density. These crystalline stratified silicate granules are preferably obtained by roller compacting.
