[origin: WO9600415A1] The invention concerns a wristwatch (10) with an essentially circular casing (21) enclosing the mechanism (18), the upper side of the casing having a rim (14) fitted with a cover glass (11) and the underside being closed off by a floor plate (26), the watch also having a decorative ring (23) fixed to the casing (21). The flexible, easy-to-manufacture decorative ring (23) is fitted to the casing (21) by slipping it over the outside of the casing so that it surrounds the casing.
