Abstract (en)
The handpiece has a steam line (4) for supplying the steam from the steam generator and a stream delivery line (6), for supplying it to the cleaned surface via a dosing valve (5). A movable handgrip (10) is displaced against a return spring force for operating an electric switch (7), controlling the steam supply to the handpiece. Pref. the handpiece has a sliding bolt (18,19) which can be used to lock the handgrip in the inoperative position, the handgrip pref. having a switch projection (17) cooperating with a switch nose (8) of a microswitch.

Um bei einem Handstück (1) für ein Dampfreinigungsgerät mit einer Einleitung einer von einem Dampferzeuger zu dem Handstück führenden Dampfzuleitung, einer Dampfabgabeleitung und mit einem elektrischen Schalter zum Ein- und Ausschalten der Dampfzufuhr von dem Dampferzeuger zu dem Handstück eine Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigte Dampfabgabe zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß an dem Handstück (1) ein Handgriff (10) beweglich gelagert ist, der gegen die Wirkung einer Feder (12) in eine Arbeitsstellung bewegbar ist, in welcher der Schalter (7) von dem Handgriff (10) betätigt und die Dampfzufuhr eingeschaltet ist, und der bei entspannter Feder (12) in einer Ruhestellung steht, in welcher der Schalter (7) unbetätigt und die Dampfzufuhr ausgeschaltet ist. <IMAGE>
