Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0715827A2] The handpiece has a steam line (4) for supplying the steam from the steam generator and a stream delivery line (6), for supplying it to the cleaned surface via a dosing valve (5). A movable handgrip (10) is displaced against a return spring force for operating an electric switch (7), controlling the steam supply to the handpiece. Pref. the handpiece has a sliding bolt (18,19) which can be used to lock the handgrip in the inoperative position, the handgrip pref. having a switch projection (17) cooperating with a switch nose (8) of a microswitch.
