Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0716138A1] The assembly for pressure gasification of fine-particle fuel, for the prodn. of a product gas, has a mixing tube (4) at the quench appts. (2) which is surrounded by a gas cooling heat exchanger (5), and a propellant gas feed (6). A partial flow of quench gas mixed with raw gas from the gas feed (6) is fed into the gas cooling heat exchanger (5) for cooling, to be passed into the mixing tube (4) as a quench gas.
