Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0716199A2] The profiled section is made of metal and has on at least one of the flat sides not visible from outside in the installed position an elongated groove-like indentation (7) extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile and having a tapered mouth in which connecting elements can be guided from the end sides of the profile. The connecting elements have a cross-section which is at least partially complementary with the cross-section of the groove type indentation. The indentation(s) can be formed in the or each mouth area by two rib like strips (5,6) moulded on the closure profile at a distance parallel from the associated inner flat side.
