Abstract (en)
The metal frame consists of a fixed surround (1) and an opening member (2) which is hinged to a curved section of the surround. The hinges (3) are positioned so that their pivoting axis, or line connecting the axes of the hinges, does not pass through the opening member. The fixed surround and opening member frames are each made from a single curved extrusion with ends welded together. The hinges are welded to both frames, and same hinges are used for all types of frames. The frame can be equipped with a regulator and stop, comprising an arm of a supply material with one end attached to the outer surround and the other end attached to the inner frame.

L'invention concerne un châssis de porte ou fenêtre métallique comportant un dormant (1) et un ouvrant (2) articulés sur une partie courbe. Ce châssis se caractérise en ce que le dormant (1) et l'ouvrant (2) sont réalisés chacun à partir d'un profilé métallique cintré, que l'ouvrant (2) pivote sur le dormant (1) autour d'un axe (4) à l'aide d'un jeu d'articulations (3) fixées en applique sur le dormant (1) et l'ouvrant (2), l'axe de pivotement (4) ne coupant pas l'ouvrant (2). L'invention permet de réaliser par exemple des fenêtres rondes à ouverture à la française, projetante à l'italienne et à soufflet, dans une large gamme dimensionnelle, avec le même jeu d'articulations, ces fenêtres présentant une grande rigidité. <IMAGE>
