Abstract (en)
The contact element (100) is used to provide an electric contact between the facing contact surfaces (2, 3) of a pair of heavy current contacts (1, 4) and accommodates variations in the relative spacing of the contact surfaces resulting from mfg. tolerances. The contact element has a V-shaped cross-section, with a number of parallel transverse contact ridges (105) spaced along its longitudinal axis (110), with one of the contact surface contacted at the ends of the V arm, the other contact surface contacted at the apex of the V.

Bei einem Kontaktelement (100) zum elektrischen Verbinden zweier Kontaktstücke (1, 4), die sich mit Kontaktflächen (2, 3) gegenüberliegen, welches Kontaktelement (100) sich entlang einer Längsachse (110) erstreckt und eine Mehrzahl von im wesentlichen parallel zueinander und quer zur Längsachse (110) angeordneten Kontaktstegen (105) umfasst, welche Kontaktstege (105) an ihren Enden in einer Grundfläche (6) untereinander verbunden sind und in der Mitte um eine Höhe (j) aus der Grundfläche (6) herausragen, wird eine grosse Toleranzüberbrückung bei kleinem benötigtem Einbauraum dadurch, dass die Kontaktstege (105) im wesentlichen V-förmig gebogen sind, wobei jeder der Kontaktstege (105) in zwei im wesentlichen gleich lange, gerade Schenkel (107, 112) unterteilt ist, welche einen Biegewinkel (α) kleiner 180° miteinander bilden, und wobei der elektrische Kontakt zu der einen Kontaktfläche (2) im Biegebereich der Kontaktstege (105) hergestellt wird. <IMAGE>
