[origin: EP0716823A1] The slatted frame is esp. adapted for use as part of a bed. At least four parallel supports (2) are spaced apart and hold the wooden slats (3). The supports rest on transverse bottom wooden panels (8). The distance apart, width and pref. thickness of these panels are greater than the distance apart, width and thickness of the top wooden slats.
