[origin: EP0716921A1] The pick-up container (6) for the used plate (2) is mounted where it can be set on and removed from the printing plate changer (3). The container can swivel above the printing mechanism. It is pref. curved running in the printing direction of the used plate. The curvature of the container can be in the order of the curvature which a used plate has which is removed from the plate cylinder (1). A used plate can be removed from the container vertically relative to the conveyor direction of the used plate. The container pref. has brushes to guide the used plate.
