Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0716998A2] The material is fed over a pair of parallel rollers (5,7) on a swivel mounting (8) about an axis (6) to one side of the system. A first alignment sensor (1) is positioned near the output roller, in the forward feed setting, and furthest away from the swivel axis. A second sensor (2) is mounted further down the feed direction and operates for the reverse feed direction. The reverse fluid control has the alignment sensor mechanically coupled to the swivel control - either directly or by virtual coupling. Alternately the sensor and the swivel control positions are monitored electronically.
