Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0717007A1] The barrel (5) is placed on a support holder (4) mounted on supports (4a) which slide up a vertical guide (2) on a simple support frame. The top of the frame has a pump head (7) with an intake complete with integral heater (6). The barrel is raised until the pump and heater are immersed in the contents. The pumping system has no flexible hoses and feeds a processing station for the viscous material. The support frame is a simple design comprising ground support (1a), vertical support (1c) and overhead support (1b) all rigidly connected. The vertical drive is via a hydraulic ram (3).
