Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0717132A2] An open end spinning machine has, next to each other, many working stations each with a spinning rotor supported by disc mountings and contained in a housing under low pressure and with a sliver disseminator having a rotating disseminating roller in a hinged case. The rotor housing can be shut at the front by a fibre channel plate placed on a hinged cover and a dirt disposal appts. is fixed in place below a dirt exit in the hinged housing. This appts. (13) is pneumatic and has a dirt receptacle funnel (38) located at a distance from the exit (36) on the hinged housing and is connected by a suction pipe (39) to a duct (9) for dirt running along the machine. The appts. is designed and fixed on the rotor spinning unit (4) so that opening of the unit cover (23) is not impeded.
