Abstract (en)
The tappet works together with a cam on a camshaft, and has a coupler (15), which in a first switching position disables an engine valve, and in a second switching position activates it in order to control a gas flow. The coupler can be locked in two end positions, associated with the switching positions, by first and second (42) blocking equipments. The equipments can be unblocked by the stem (10) of the valve, and the action which locks the coupler on reaching each end position may be due to a spring element (27). The shaft may enter a hole (35) in the coupler in the first end position, in order to release the blocking equipment.

Ein Stößel (1) für ein schaltbares Ventil (2) umfaßt eine Schalteinrichtung mit einem durch einen hydraulisch baufschlagbaren Kolben (14) verschieblichen Kupplungsglied (15), mit dem das Ventil (2) in einer ersten Schaltstellung abgeschaltet und einer zweiten Schaltstellung aktiviert ist. Um reibungsarme definierte Schaltbewegungen des Kupplungsgliedes (15) bzw. des Stößels (1) zu ermöglichen, wird das Kupplungsglied (15) in seinen jeweils einer Schaltstellung zugeordneten Endstellungen durch jeweils eine Sperreinrichtung (41,42) verriegelt. Die Sperreinrichtung (41,42) ist in der jeweiligen Endstellung des Kupplungsgliedes (15) wirksam und kann durch den Ventilschaft (10) entriegelt werden. <IMAGE>
