Abstract (en)
The valve controls the quantity of exhaust gases fed to the air intake of the i.c. engine, with the valve element (18) cooperating with the valve seat (16) adjusted via a setting drive (22). The actual quantity of recycled exhaust gases fed to the air intake is detected by a measuring device downstream of the valve element and supplied to an evaluation device controlling the setting drive. Pref. the measuring device uses a flow restriction (43) downstream of the valve with associated pressure sensors (40,41) on either side of it.

Es wird ein Abgasrückführventil vorgeschlagen, das aus einem in ein Rohr (1) ragenden Stutzen (12) besteht, mit dessen Mündung ein Ventilglied (18) zusammenwirkt, das von einem Stellantrieb (22) bewegt wird, wobei der Stellantrieb (22) über ein Verbindungsteil (32) mit dem Stutzen (12) verbunden ist, derart, daß diese genannten Teile gemeinsam durch eine erste Öffnung (3) in das Rohr eingesetzt werden kann, wobei ein Schließteil (9) des Stutzens (12) eine zweite Öffnung (5) des Rohres verschließt, an welcher Stelle ein nach außen ragendes Ende des Stutzens (12) mit einer Abgasrückführleitung (14) verbunden ist. Vorteilhaft dient das Verbindungsteil (32) zusätzlich zur Weiterleitung von am Stutzen (12) aufgenommenen Meßwerten einer Meßwertaufnahmevorrichtung zur Auswerteeinrichtung der Meßeinrichtung. <IMAGE>
