Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0717419A1] The bundle (F) of electrical conductors (C) are enclosed in a metal sheath (EG). The metal sheath is formed as a tress to ensure continuity of the electromagnetic shielding. The metal sheath is sandwiched between protective two layers (ETe, ETi). The protective layers are concentric with the axis of the cable, with the inner protective layer wrapped immediately round the cable bundle. The metal sheath encloses the inner layer and is in turn enclosed by the outer protective sheath. The protective sheaths are formed as a tress of thermofusible synthetic fibres. Where the cable bundle is branched and additional protective layer is put in place to maintain the continuity of the protective layers.
