[origin: WO9602433A1] In a sealing disc of at least two layers (2a, 2B) for the closure (3) of containers (1) for odour-sensitive foodstuffs (6), hydrophilic products or the like, especially soluble coffee, one of the layers (2a, 2b) consists of polypropylene and another (2a) of polyethylene, polypropylene or wax. The polypropylene layer (2b) in the closure (3) is held firmly by clamping and there are further layers (7, 8) which, when the container (1) is first opened, are separated and remain on the upper peripheral edge (4) of the container (1).
