Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0718169A1] The drive assembly and the control and safety units are integrated in a uniform drive block (9). The drive block as an independent functional unit is mounted on the main frame (1) of the carriage by quick release positive locking connecting elements on the main frame, and is drive coupled to at least one axle (8) of the carriage. The connecting elements consist of a drawer guide (10,11) located at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the railway carriage and in which the drive block is lockable in the operating position.
