[origin: EP0718490A2] The fuel injection valve has a longitudinal axis, a valve closure body, a valve seat body (16) with a valve seat surface which works in conjunction with the closure body and a thin hole plate (26) with at least one ejection opening downstream of the valve seat surface. A holed disc carrier (21) is partially in contact with a lower end (17) of the valve seat body and is rigidly connected to the valve seat body. The holed disc carrier has an inner, bowl-shaped carrier extending at an axial distance from the lower end of the valve seat body. The greatest axial separation is formed between a base section of the carrier section (25) and the end and the holed disc is inserted between the end and the carrier section.
