[origin: EP0718550A1] The injection nozzle comprises a fuel pipe (2) with a branch channel (7). The fuel is directed through slits (6) in the fuel pipe via the branch channel to an atomizer edge (5). The inside of the branch channel comprises distribution plates (3) with distribution pins (4) arranged between same. At least one intermediate piece (8) is mounted in the branch pipe so that several distribution plates are formed. The injection nozzle can be aerodynamically designed on the outside. The gap width (t) of the channel at the atomizer edge is at most a half millimetre.
