Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0718551A2] The radiation burner has a gas permeable burner plate with variable gas permeability. Regions of the burner plate have no gas permeability. The region without gas permeability makes up 40% to 70%, especially 50% to 60% of the total surface of the burner plate. The total output of the burner is maintained at the same level, despite the areas without gas permeability. The low gas permeability areas can have circular segment or sector shapes.
