[origin: EP0718552A1] The burner has a nose (13) pierced with apertures for feeding first and second fluids which form a flame at a short distance from the nose when in contact. The burner nose has an outer face wit holes, some of which (15) are connected to a chamber (20) fed with the first fluid and delimited by the nose, a perforated lateral partition (23) and a transverse base (22). The lateral partition is sealed to both the nose and the base, and some of the holes (14) in the nose contain sealed tubes (26) which pass through the base and are connected to a feed duct for the second fluid. Both sets of holes (14, 15) are distributed evenly over the surface of the nose, which is flat, and lie parallel to one another.
