Abstract (en)
The wire wound electric heating element (4) is gripped by shaped clips (6) attached to support brackets (7) which have a clip fastening into the support base (2). This allows a robotic assembly and eliminates point contacts with the heater wire. The shape and position of the heating coils is selected to optimise the heating effect on the particular airflow. The windings are gripped with a simple ratchet grip which covers at least one winding. Either the grips and supports, or the base support, are of insulating material while the other components ae metal. The system can be extended to more than one heating element on the common support.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein elektrisches Widerstandsheizelement (1) zum Erwärmen eines gasförmigen Mediums, vornehmlich Luft. Das Heizelement (1) besteht aus einer im Gasstrom angeordneten Trägerplatte (2), an der unter Zwischenschaltung von Halteelementen (3) mindestens eine Heizleiterwendel (4) befestigt ist. Die Wendel (4) ist an den Halteelementen (3) und die Halteelemente (3) sind an der Trägerplatte (2) mittels lösbarer Steckverbindungen befestigt, so daß die Herstellung eines erfindungsgemäßen Widerstandsheizelements weitgehend automatisiert werden kann. <IMAGE>
