[origin: WO9602784A1] A device for securing air ducts consisting of individual joined sections, in which the joint planes of the sections have edge sections allowing them to be screwed together, the edge sections being angled on the outer edge. The purpose of the invention is to provide a securing device which is easy to fit and by means of which the suspension means can be considerably shortened, thus saving material. This is achieved in that the body of the device (1) takes the form of a section with pairs of engagement projections (6) in the central longitudinal plane which engaged in the fitted position with the angled sections of two adjacent edge sections of the duct sections and with at least one drilling (11) through which securing means like threaded rods (10) or the like can be passed.
