Abstract (en)
The carrier, designed to allow a baby to be carried on the back, consists of a back panel (1) which acts as a frame, shoulder straps (3), a seat (16) for the baby, basically U-shaped and connected at the front to the panel, a rear face (17) to support the baby's back, and a rounded bottom (18). The carrier has adjusters (23) for positioning and locking the front section of the seat, which moves in a sleeve fastened to the panel. The adjusters are in the form of straps and buckles connected to the carrier's shoulder straps. The top of the back panels has a shock absorbing pad (20), and the seat has two side panels (21B, 21C) on each side, fastened by a strap (50). The seat is made from a core of a foam-type material, pref. of EVA, sandwiched between a layer of a supple material like polyester and a material like Nylex (RTM).

Dispositif pour le portage à dos de bébé ou d'enfant, du type comprenant : un panneau dorsal (1) formant armature ; des bretelles de portage (2, 3) fixées sur ledit panneau ; un siège (16) destiné à l'enfant, en forme générale de U, comprenant une face avant solidaire du panneau dorsal (1), une face arrière (17) support du dos de l'enfant, les faces étant reliées par un fond (18) arrondi ; caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens de réglage (23, 34) de la position de la face avant et de blocage (24, 35) temporaire en ladite position, aptes à permettre le déplacement de la face avant en translation, parallèlement à elle-même, par rapport au panneau dorsal. <IMAGE>
