Abstract (en)
The universal roll stand for continuous forming of pipes(in particular, in pipe welding installations) incorporates pairwise opposing, appropriately grooved rolls which are adjustable in common plane perpendicular to the longitudinal pipe axis. It is characterised by the fact that complete universal roll assemblies (2) can be removed from the stand (1) and be replaced with other complete universal roll assemblies for production of round or different profiled pipes.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Universalwalzgerüst zum kontinuierlichen Umformen von Rohren, insbesondere von Rohrschweißanlagen, zu Rund- oder Profilrohren. Um ein Universalwalzgerüst so auszubilden, daß mit geringem konstruktivem Aufwand und hoher Zuverlässigkeit sowohl Rundrohre wie auch Profilrohre mit großer Formgenauigkeit wirtschaftlich hergestellt werden können, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß die kompletten Universaleinbauten (2) aus dem Ständer (1) des Universalwalzgerüstes ausbaubar und wahlweise gegen Universaleinbauten (2) zur Herstellung von Rundrohren bzw. zur Herstellung von Profilrohren austauschbar sind. <IMAGE>
