[origin: EP0719720A1] The storage device (10) has a trolley (11) with a vertical guide rail (20) for a storage fitting (24). The trolley has a bearing-surface element (58) below the storage fitting, on which the would roll (54') can be set down. The winding belt (50), under tension, which is lowered with the printed products onto the winding core, can thus be clamped and blocked between the roll (54) and the bearing-surface element. The winding belt thus cannot come loose, with risk of the roll falling out. The device can be fitted to an unwinding unit (80), which can lift the roll off the bearing-surface element for unwinding.
