[origin: DE4447347C1] The device comprises a flanged roller (63) for deforming the closure cap (12) which is positioned outside the track along which the container (11) moves in the conveyor (15). The holder (30) for the container and the closure top (55) can swivel on the same axis (68) and are positioned on the same frame (23). The frame is turned on the axle by a first crank drive (72). The closure top which is axially movable in relation to the holder is movable by a second crank drive (73). Both crank drives are connected by a pivot mounted disc (71) joined to a drive shaft (70). The closure top and holder are connected by the same drive mechanism (46).
