Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0721022A2] To feed the ends of the yarns wound round supply bobbins (A,B), over each other on the same axis on a two-for-one twisting spindle, the first supply bobbin (A) is placed on the spindle (6). The free yarn end (b) of the second supply bobbin (B) is passed from above through the yarn entry tube (20) of the second bobbin. The two yarn ends (a,b) from the two bobbins (A,B) are brought together and laid at the yarn entry opening of the yarn entry tube (12) at the lower bobbin (A). The yarn threader is activated, to use compressed air, and the second bobbin (B) is placed on the spindle (6) over the first bobbin (A).
