Abstract (en)
The cross-section is formed by a flat middle portion (1b) and two side flanges (1a) parallel to it and joined to it via inclined ribs (1c). On both sides, the width (b) of the middle portion is the same, as is the width (a) between the ribs, so that the embossed and recessed surfaces are complementary to each other. The fitting can be formed by a thin metal strip wound into a coil, so that adjacent turns fit one inside the other. The strip can be unwound from the coil and parted off into lengths for forming into finished articles.

Ein Beschlagteil, insbesondere eine Stulpschiene, für einen Treibstangenbeschlag hat ein im Querschnitt hut- oder Ω-förmiges Profil, so daß es bei gleicher Querschnittshöhe aus einen wesentlich dünneren Material hergestellt werden kann als ein Beschlagteil mit flach-rechteckigen Querschnitt, ohne an Festigkeit zu verlieren. Die erhabene (konvexe) und vertiefte (konkave) Seite des Querschnittsprofils sind zueinander komplementär, so daß das Beschlagteil aus einem Halbzeug mit entsprechendem Querschnittsprofil, das zu einer Rolle aufgewickelt ist, rationell gefertigt werden kann. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
