Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0721048A1] The mechanism, designed to wind the cord on its drum without the coils overlapping, has the drum fixed in a frame (1) with a guide (8) for the cord, and a winding nut (6) which is fixed from rotation and engages with a threaded surface on the drum so that it can travel along the drum between the point at which the cord is fixed to its surface and the guide (8). The lower portion of the nut has a passage (10) for the cord to pass through, and the outer surface of the drum has at least one recess (14, 15) which engages with a tipping stop (13) on the nut to prevent the cord from becoming unwound.
