Abstract (en)
The insert (12a) can be used to form a welded joint (14). The plastics material used to make the moulding (11) can be highly heat-resistant. Alternatively, the insert can be threaded to form a screwed joint. Typically it is made of sheet-metal in which the thread (20) is embossed. It can be tubular and made in one or more parts and embedded in the plastics, its thread being coated with plastics. There can be an anchoring portion (14) on it, joining it positively to the moulding.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Anschlußelement für einen Heizkörper, insbesondere einen Plattenheizkörper, welches als ein Kunststofformteil (11) mit wenigstens einem damit fest verbundenen Metalleinsatz (12a,12b) ausgeführt ist. Der Metalleinsatz (11) ist bereits beim Kunststoffgießen in die Form eingelegt, so daß mit dem Aushärten des Kunststoffes ein stabiler Metall-Kunststoff-Verbund entsteht. Der Metalleinsatz (12a,12b) ist insbesondere an den Stellen angeordnet, an denen eine Schweiß- oder Schraubverbindung vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
