[origin: EP0722003A2] The multi-part spinning block, assembled for melt spinning of filaments, has a heater system to heat the spinning block (3) from within, through one or more longitudinal heating elements (11). The heaters (11) are distributed evenly round the axis of the main flow of molten material. The heaters pass through the whole spinning block (3), and can be removed to exchange the filter (9) or spinarette plate (10), or for maintenance.
