Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0722026A2] The device has a support (32) to mount a panel-shaped component (67) and a handrail on a wall (31). The support has upper (34) and lower (33) parts, with the latter accommodated inside the former. The lower part is fixed to the wall, and the upper part has surfaces to carry the handrail. The upper part also a gap (48), which can either be covered, or can have a plate (74) inserted into it, which forms part of the mounting for a retaining part (68) which is attached to the component. The retaining part may be in the shape of a hook, and may be hung on a vertical plate (70) on the mounting.
