[origin: DE19500509C1] The lock, with catch etc. has a central locking drive (2) with engine (3) turning a rotor (5) pref. via a worm gear (4). On the rotor is an actuating component (6) movable into the unlocked and locked positions (E,S) and pref. also into theft-proof and neutral ones (D,N). The lock mechanism (1) contains an internal opening lever (7), an external one, further levers, and a central locking lever (11) adjusted by the actuating component. The actuating component is movable on the rotor in the radial direction and spring-loaded outwards. When the central locking drive is jammed, the component can be moved in opposition to the spring into an intermediate position in the radial direction, thus allowing the door lock to be freed and released. The component and rotor can be arranged always to return to the neutral position (N). There can be a theft-prevention lever (12) adjusted by the component.
