Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0722859A1] The roll-over protection unit is mounted behind the occupants of the vehicle. The unit is pre-assembled and incorporates a roll-over protection bar, a cassette with actuator which swings the bar into position and a roll-over sensor. The unit is pre-assembled outside the vehicle and is secured to the vehicle or a mounting bracket (6). The bracket (6) is formed by a support frame which lies across the width of the vehicle and which is secured to the vehicle structure.
